Nir Alon at Metakom
A three-part show, it will debut in Gütersloh

As part of the Jewish Culture Days 2011, the exhibition "METAKOM" will shift the Jewish tradition of Bible commentary into the realm of contemporary art. A three-part show, it will debut in Gütersloh from March 6 to April 3, with the opening on March 20, at 11:30 am, and subsequently travel to Raumordnung Krefeld in April/May and to Kunstverein Kreis Soest in June. Participating artists in Gütersloh include: Homayon Aatifi, Nelly Agassi/Assaf Evron, Nir Alon, Gili Avissar, Daniel Ben-Hur, Christian Hage, Itamar Jobani, Ella Littwitz, Aharon Ozery, Ariel Reichman, Klaus Reincke, Bat Sheva Ross, Micha Ullman, Johannes Zoller.

"METAKOM" will be accompanied by a catalogue published by Verlag Kettler. Our graphic designers, Sven Lindhorst-Emme and Sascha Fronczek, are working double shifts, and the printing press will soon be running at full speed. The catalogue will be available at the opening in Gütersloh. Over more than 100 pages, all artists will be represented with biographical notes and images of their work.
